Defender of Dreams

Long ago, spirits freely roamed the realm of dreams. The good spirits would work to make the place beautiful and safe for all, especially the children who visited in their sleep. One day, evil forces came to the dreamland, driving out the good spirits. These evil spirits were known as nightmares, and drove the good spirits to the material plane.

A kind man found these lost spirits, and listened to their tale. He knew that the spirits would want to continue protecting the children of this realm, so he sewed them physical bodies with magic thread, creating the stuffed animal. These creatures would live with their children and ensure them good dreams.

However, they are called into action when nightmares attack
